WPS Album ART disable

(1/1)

Avalon:
I have recently used WPS to put together a custom display for my Fuze V1 which I am very pleased with.....posting to follow shortly.

I do have a couple of questions related to this which would greatly improve the WPS.

As it is, the WPS displays album art and other info if available.  if the album art is not available, a selection of file details is substituted.

1. Since all of my albums have album art files in the directories, I would like a way to display the file detail in the WPS by toggling back and forth between album art and file detail.  Is there a convenient way to do this via the setup menus, tag, other, or is my only option to remove the album art files?

2. Is there a way to include pictureflow in the main menu, default screen and provide a way back to pictureflow from the wps?  It would seem to be a logical selection form the main menu/database/album selection menu.

Thanks for your input.

I don't know the fuze v1, but assuming it has a lock/hold button like other targets, you could use it to toggle album art vs. info (see %?mh in http://www.rockbox.org/wiki/CustomWPS). There are many WPS that use this, Spartan Black for ipod video is just one if you want to take a look at an example.

No... you'd have to code it
