[Question] Would you recommend on buying the Sandisk Sansa View 16GB?

Since I've lost my previous Sansa e200 on an air-plane (don't ask how) I wondered whether I should just buy new same one or upgrade to something better.
Since I've enjoyed the RockBox on my Sansa really really much I've decided I must buy a player which supports RockBox (or in fact the other way around). Anyways, I found the Sansa View 16GB much attractive than other players, and I wanted to ask you guys if buying it would be a good idea since there isn't any official release and I'm not sure if the e200v2 test build would run on it.

Rockbox doesn't run on the View.  See www.rockbox.org for a list of supported devices.
