ipod nano fast fwd error
syuusuke:
hey everyone,
I'm wondering if someone can help me fix this weird issue I have with my 1st gen Ipod Nano installed with rockbox 3.4. My problem is that when I try to fast forward an mp3 file into the next 2 minutes of the song, it will give me a "Data abort E800007A" error code. When that error appears, I can't do anything except for rebooting the Nano. The older firmware I had worked fine but it was a long time ago since I've updated so I think it's version 2.5.
I've tried using the very current build and archive build and still the same issue.
Anyone know how to fix this problem?
thx
AlexP:
There was no version 2.5 for anything except the Archos players - the first for iPod etc was 3.0
Does this happen on every MP3?
Does it happen with formats other than MP3?
If you reset your settings then try again, does it still happen?
syuusuke:
Ok it's probably 3.0 then, it's been a long time since I've updated my Rockbox software on my Nano.
Happens on every MP3 file I've tried.
AlexP:
And what about my other questions?
soap:
Is there a rockbox.ipod file in the root directory of your player? If so delete it.
Did you update your bootloader when you installed 3.4? If not do so.
