I installed rockbox about a year ago and noticed where there's a more recent version 3.4 available.

I have an e250r and wondering if there are benefits to installing the new version and if there's any problems with installing in on my device.

I do need to use a card reader to make changes to my micro sd card, so maybe that issue has been resolved?

You really should find this information on your own. I mean, the link to the notable changes is right in the first post (and I'm even Including it here)

I don't know about the micro sd card slot, but if it works for you now, I see no reason it won't work for you in 3.4. Plus, just back up your .rockbox directory and restore it if you don't like the upgrade.
