E200R bootloader update

I have a Sansa E200R and desperately want to update my bootloader (using 32 bit windows). Right now I have v5 of the bootloader which is really annoying because when plugged into my car, it boots to the default sansa firmware, not rockbox.

My understanding is that rbutil works for everything but the E200Rs. Referring to the other instructions (http://www.rockbox.org/wiki/SansaE200RInstallation) I found that both links are dead.

Any help would be appreciated, preferably in baby steps with links. Thanks

Thanks, but it seems the .exe you linked only updates the bootloader to V5. If possible, I'm trying to get V6 on my E260R...

Contemplating installing the latest 3.4 version for my sansa 250r but am aware that there's problems with the e200 for rbutil? Interested in having the ability to write to my micro sd card without using a card reader. Is this possible? Thanx!

I don't think rbutil has any issues, but if you can't get it to work updating rockbox is as simple as downloading a new build and unzipping it to your mp3 player.

You can use rbutil to update to version 3.4, but if your sansa is really an "r" model, you will not be able to use rbutil to update to the version 6.0 bootloader.
