Hey so i know you guys have quite a bit to do and im very well aware that the best way to get something done is to do it myself but at the moment i am swamped with my Mech Eng studies but heres my idea
basically a port to rockbox for the plugin MiniLyrics for many media players (works for media monkey, itunes, WinAmp, WMP along with others)
now said plugin is not opensource however the files with the corresponding time and lyric can be downloaded for each song and saved to either ID3 tag or into a folder, if a rockbox app could then read this, and "play" it that should work
so basically the only thing that really needs to be done is an application that can read the lyric files and display the text in time with the song(not that that is a mundane task)
eventually it would awesome to see this implemented into wps tags.
