Sansa e260 not booting Rockbox in car
(1/1)
Sot:
I've installed Rockbox on my e260 and I'm loving it all except for one problem that's a real pain in my side.
When I turn it on under normal conditions, it boots into Rockbox just fine, and I can hit the left arrow during boot to get back to the original firmware if I want to. But I always keep it in my car where it gets USB power as soon as I start the engine, and in that situation it does this:
* Displays the Sandisk logo
* Displays the yellow Rockbox logo, then the screen fades to white
* Displays the Sandisk logo again
* Boots the original firmwareI then have to disconnect the USB power and reboot to get to Rockbox, and reconnect the USB power.
How can I get it to always boot to Rockbox? I'd be perfectly fine NEVER booting to the original firmware.
mc2739:
The current bootloaders do not have support for the Rockbox USB mode. If you check out the forum thread Sansa, H10 and M:robe 100 bootloaders you will find new bootloaders with Rockbox USB enabled.
Sot:
I'll check it out. Thank you!
