Increase time for pressing 'long' buttons?

I am running 3.2 on a Gigabeat F40 and an IRiver H340. 

I was wondering of there is any way to increase the time required to press the 'long' buttons.  9 times out of 10 when Rockbox detects the 'long' button I had meant to press the regular button.

Thanks for any replies.

You'd have to modify the source code and roll your own build.

Okay thanks.  I might try to do that at some point.  I have a programming background but have never looked at the Rockbox source before.  If there is enough interest perhaps we could make this configurable in a future release.

I don't think this would be accepted.  If its really a problem the preferred solution would be to just make the hold interval slightly longer.
