FS#10444 - I think that the playlist created from the Play Next should not be considered dynamic (they will never contain more then 1 file or folder), While i consider it a bug, it can be open for discussion.

Rockbox playback is heavily playlist centric, which means that there's always a playlist involved. If that is no real playlist it's the dynamic playlist.
But everything is consistent: You create a dynamic playlist and are then warned when you try to erase it. If you don't want to be warned you can turn off the warnings.
Dynamic playlist.A dynamic playlist is a playlist that is created “On the fly.†Any time you insert or queue tracks using the Playlist submenu (see section 4.4.3), you are creating (or adding to) a dynamic playlist.

If you view the playlist after "Play Next" you will find that it is the set of files you want to play next preceded by the track that's currently playing.Maybe you think that the playlists produced this way should be treated like a playlist produced by selecting a file within a directory for playback but this isn't currently the case. I would not consider this a bug.
