Iriver H10 20GB question:
Where do I put Jpeg files on 3.3 version Rockbox. I got the music figured out and no matter where I put the pics I can't find them on the system. Also, when I remove the system from the PC, I have to reset it everytime. Is that normal? Thanks

The easiest place to put album art images is in the same folder as the music album they belong to, named folder.jpg.

Thanks for the response. I did see the answer you posted before I asked and that is what I don't understand. I'm not trying to do album art, I'm trying to put pictures (jpegs) on the Iriver. I created the folders you mentioned and that didn't work. I probably did that wrong. I thought I just made a folder named my pics.

It doesn't really matter where you put the jpeg files if you just want to e.g. watch your photos.

My guess is that you either put them into a hidden folder (Rockbox respects that in the default setting), or you (accidentally) set the "file view" setting to "music". You could check what it is set to and either set to "supported" if the files are not in hidden folders or "all" if they are. I'm not sure if this is true for the H10 firmware and a folder named "pics" but it could even be that the original firmware sets certain folders to hidden (e.g. the Sansa firmware does for a folder named "music"). Please read more about - how you can do this and where to find the options - in our manual.

Thank you very much. The file view was set to music. I created a folder named Pics and they all work again. Now what about the problem with needing to reset everytime I unplug the USB cable. The Iriver says its ok to disconnect but I can't turn it off without using the reset button. Maybe its another setting that I'm overlooking.
