The disk is full. Press STOP to continue. CF Mod [h110]
« on: August 18, 2009, 09:44:07 AM »
Just wondering what else I can try. I have completed the CF mod and I am now getting this error upon entering the recording screen. I have tried just about everything I can think of. Formatting card re-installing.. If I view rockbox info I get:

Free: 7.44GB Disk: 7.45GB Buffer: 14.1MB Album Art: 64x64 Version: 3.3.

I have run the disk scan by pressing play at the info screen. Still nothing. Should I try reverting back to an older version? I have flashed the rom as well. I tried installing the current build as well. Still having the same issue.

If I drop to bootloader mode and try booting from disk I get the ata error: 80. So I am forced to boot to ROM. Is this part of the problem? If so how do I go about fixing that.

also, I am running boot 7-4pre... should I try downgrading to v6? If so how do I go about doing that?

Thanks for any help.
Neil

Neil, I have the same setup as you (pretty much) and am familiar with the headaches.

1. Boot into Rockbox in whatever way you can (CF, RAM or ROM)
2. Plug in your USB be cable and enter Rockbox Diskmode.
3. Rename you .rockbox folder (example old.rockbox) and unzip a fresh copy of .rockbox.
4. Unmount and unplug you player from the computer.
5. RoLo into the rockbox image on you CF Card. (you should be prompted to do this)
6. Clear all of your settings. (may not be necessary but better to be safe)
7. Shut Down
9. Engage the hold switch
9. Reboot
10. In the bootloader set "boot from disk" as default.
11. Boot from disk!

You should now be OK. Let me know how it goes.
