Ratings Question

I just installed RockBox on my 4G bw iPod. All my music is there, but unfortunately none of my ratings are. I use ratings pretty heavily in Winamp, and it's a nice way to generate playlists & such.

Searching the forums, I found this link (http://forums.rockbox.org/index.php?topic=16464.0) which talks about exporting/importing the database. Just curious if anyone has another method? I don't mind doing it once, but I'd rather automate the process (exporting/importing the rb database) so I don't need to do it everytime I add music.

that exporting/importing is when you need to rebuild the rockbox database... nothing to do with importing your ratings from winamp or wherever (which i dont think rockbox can do)

I *think* that exporting the database also exports the ratings that you've defined from within Rockbox, but there's no software (that I know of) that will export the ratings info from winamp to Rockbox's format.

Having said that, we all know that Rockbox is open-source so presumably it's possible to do this?

I'm sure there's a patch for that.
