<< < (3/7) > >>

Dasha:
Hi chronof No cobba thats not happenning it is in "Sansdisk mode"  Rockbox Firmware disappers after  the "Refresh Data" routine and it goes back Sansdisk "Music" then  to the Sansdisk Splash.
Now it's Frozen??? I unplugged it and the screen is Black I have the Blue Backlight, but I cannot turn it the Light or the player off or on what do you think have I wrecked it?? :D ??? Dasha

BruceHP:
Hold down the Off button until it shuts off, maybe 30 to 60 seconds.

evilnick:
If it's "stuck" on a black screen and glowing wheel then hold the Power button for up to a minute (should only take 15-30 seconds) and that will turn it off.
Then power it back up. Hopefully it'll load the Sansa firmware.
If not, and it powers up to the black screen and glowing wheel then the flash memory (the storage that you copy music to) may have come slightly loose from the player - this seems to happen if you've dropped it. And can be fixed by opening the case and re-seating the chip (it's *very* easy to do this so don't panic).

Dasha:
Rippa Tune Guys that fixed that problem it still goes to blank screen unless i press Start an like i said I still can't load RBox ;D :D

Chronon:
I can't tell, from what you've written if you ran Rockbox Utility and what the results were.  Did it correctly autodetect your player?  You need to get the player to appear as a drive letter in Windows Explorer, then run Rockbox Utility.  Did you do that?
