APPLE IPOD 120GB

I am awaiting my iPod to arrive, it is a 120GB model, i am just wondering weather the rockbox firmware for the 5th gen 80GB ipod will work on it?

OR

Is there a newer version in the making for my iPod??

The build for the iPod video will not work on the iPod Classic, and there is currently no port in the works at this time. All there is, is merely research.
