Trigger recording _below_ start threshold?

I want the trigger to start recording when the signal is below a start threshold and stop recording when signal is above stop threshold.

Basically I only want to record when it is quiet.


I used some dirty hacks to do this half a year ago and it kind of works, but it is not very stable and I never created a real patch.  Now I want to update to the newest build and I have no idea how I got it to work ;-)  So I thought maybe someone knows an easier way to do this or maybe someone already created a patch for this..

created a patch myself. Not very nice, instead of adding another option I simply replaced the normal trigger. But it works...

still, if you create a patch for it, it might help getting this functionality in the official build. Or maybe somebody else wnats to use it and can use your patch.

Has this trigger issue been resolved in recent builds?
