I cant See/delete Previous MP3s Installed by Itunes

(1/1)

MattyCakes:
I setup my drive to be editable or view files in the control panel windows but alas when I visit said drive window, it shows no mp3 files.  however when I go into rockbox when i turn the ipod on it shows all of the songs I had previously installed.  I did not use any playlists or anything, I just dropped them into the Itunes.  Now I cant get the summbitches off my HD.  Any clues guys?

iTunes hides them in a folder a couple levels deep and renames them.

Presumably you are using the database and not the file browser.

This isn't a rockbox question, but theres tons of software that can back up an iPod, or you could just delete them in iTunes.  Try google if you need software.

MattyCakes:
yea man, i am aware of the folder, I have shared music with my buddies that way.  now its gone.  Ill just reformat and install rockbox again i guess

Febs:
Before you go to the extreme and likely unnecessary step of reformatting, try re-initializing the database.
