5.5g minimum volume value?

Can anyone with a rockboxed 5.5g please be so kind to tell if the minimum sound volume is 0? (In other words, that you could go low to full silence by lowering it)

I'm asking because the OF has no way of lowering the volume beyond a certain value, which is too high for night audiobooks, especially in hot headphones.

On the iPod video, the lowest volume setting is -58dB; the highest is 6dB.

egoslave, if you can compile rockbox you could use the following patch: http://www.rockbox.org/tracker/task/10082?project=1&type=4&order=id&sort=desc&pagenum=5. With this patch the 5Gs volume can be lowered far beyond rockbox's unpatched builds. I have created it because of the same problem that you are suffering from.
