Status of e200 V2 support

I just bought a new e200 to replace my old one that went swimming. To my horror I found that it is V2 and not supported by Rockbox.

Are we close to support here? Not going to happen?

It is a same if not, the e200 is a great little player with Rockbox installed, without, it is a POS.

Work is progressing on the v2 and test builds are available. However it is not yet officially supported.
