Philips GoGear SA6025/02
« on: July 31, 2009, 11:40:16 AM »
Hey!
I'm new and I've decided to join this forum becouse I want try to port RockBox to my MP4 (see title).

I was able to find recovery mode (Simply hold Vol+ Button and connect MicroUSB Cable to Mp4 and to PC), but i can't do anything, because Windows hasn't drivers for this device.

I hope you have good suggestions :)

(If I did some mistakes in this message, sorry, I don't speak english very well )

I've already readed that wiki page, but I can start my porting project only if I find drivers to access internal flash by GoGear's recovery mode. Any ideas?

What CPU does your device use?  Have you created a wiki page with the hardware info?

Without the hardware info its a little early to go looking for the recovery mode.  If its a common CPU there may already be tools for it.  I suggest taking another look at the Wiki page linked above, and this time run through the steps in order.
