Ever since I installed Rockbox, I've been annoyed by the way Rockbox is much more sensitive to button touches than the SANSA firmware, but lately it seems to be getting worse (either through wear or upgrading?). Please note that this is not a hardware issue - once it's booted into the SANSA firmware all buttons act normally and respond reasonably.
The issue only used to pop up when the device would be exposed to moisture - as in 'in my pocket when it's raining' but now it seems to have gotten stuck. I've tried massaging the buttons but to not much avail. Again, all buttons act normally once the original firmware has been botted.
A particular nuisance is that the menu button is (by now) almost always perceived as pressed which causes the device to boot the original firmware. When I do manage to boot Rockbox, other buttons will typically act up too, e.g. the rewind button, making it impossible to listen to anything.
Has anybody else seen this? Is it particular to the device? Is it 3.3-related? I cant find a setting for sensitivity -is there one? or a patch maybe?
Any help appreciated.
