Oops. I forgot to rename my compiled RB bootloader from .bin to .rom...
It doesn't seem to want to enter manufacturer mode; It looks just like it does when in manufacturer mode, but doesn't appear like Vista is recognising it.
Oh, and since I have a corrupted i2c ROM, its in pre-boot mode, right?
If the Sansa is booted and discovers a corrupted i2c rom or if there is no working bootloader at all, it will enter manufacturing mode automatically. During this mode, the Sansa appears as a "PortalPlayer USB Device."
...but i got e200tool to work on windows to reflash the bootloader, following instructions on an old revision in the RB twiki. I think it was the old e200r install page.
PS: why was this moved to instalation/removal? I just want to fix the i2c rom, RB is allready installed, and i want to keep it that way, as putting RB on it was the purpose I had for it when I got it; the OF is a disaster.
