i have a problem deleting files

hello to everyone.my problemis that ,when I go to the music directory of my sansa e280 thought filesystem and I delete some files, i disconnect the player and the files are still on it.but when I reconnect the player and i search that files in music directory they are not here.someone can help me?

It sounds like the OF (Original Firmware) is setting the "Music" folder to hidden - it does this every time you use the OF, so you have two choices:

1) Remember to set the folder attributes so that it is no longer hidden.
2) Use Rockbox's native USB mode, which runs when you plug your Sansa into your computer *after* it's already within Rockbox.

You might also want to set Settings > General Settings > Database > Auto Update to Yes so that the Rockbox database contains all the files that are still on the Sansa.

yes I update the database but that songs are still in the player.I had tried also to uninstall and reinstall rockbox but the songs that I want to delete are always on the player....

Can you run the disktidy plugin then refresh the database?  Many operating systems don't truly delete files, they store them in a "trash" folder.  The database can still find these files unless you put a database.ignore file inside of it or clean your disk from extraneous OS related files and folders with the disktidy plugin.  If this still doesn't work let us know.

I had resolved the problem deleting a file called something like trash1000 on the e280, I had found it viewing hidden files....

As I suspected, the disktidy plugin will find such folders (and files) and delete them automatically.
