Battery Level Announcement
« on: July 11, 2009, 06:35:37 PM »
I feel that Rockbox should wait about 30 seconds before announcing the battery level when the unit is first turned on.
I'm using it on an e280, and when it first comes on, it does not report an accurate battery level. It also is accessing the memory quite a bit, and possibly doing some background processing, and the announcement becomes very stuttered. Not 20 seconds later, it's annoncing a different battery level.
If it waited 30 seconds before announcing it, the level would be accurate, the speech would most likely not be stuttered, and it wouldn't have to make 2 or 3 different announcements.
