Solved: Sandisk, 3.3, theme "no files"

(1/1)

heinakenka:
Hi,

just installed 3.3 and files for ClockedWcabOEM theme.

In settings theme settings I only get "no files"... what could be wrong?

In file browser I can see that files are there.

It's possible that the theme's configuration file is pointing to the wrong directory for the files it's looking for. You may wish to look at the file and see where it's looking for the files, then make sure the files are in the correct location (or alternatively alter the configuration file to point to the location you installed the theme to.) The configuration file should be located in .rockbox/themes, and ideally the theme files themselves would be installed in .rockbox/wps/[Name of theme here].

pixelma:
I think the "No files" is shown on entry of the "Browse Themes" screen if there are none of these files in the correct spot. It's a bit weird though since there should at least be the shipped ones.

Can you be more accurate here? For example "setting theme settings" - do you mean the "Theme Settings" sub menu and where do you go from there? Where exactly do you see the files in the filebrowser and how did you install the theme?

P.S.: I also checked this themes' zip on the e200 rockbox.themes.org page and the directory structure as well as the .cfg looked correctly on a first glance.

Sorry for delay...was on summer vacation :)

So I meant: Settings - Theme Settings - Browse Themes or Browse .wps files.
Both give the same "no files" message even looking with file browser (total commander) the files are there and the paths seem to be correct.

Anyhow maybe this was something to do with the copy process as now that I did everything again using the Installer software in XP everything works and the theme is there. :)

Previous installation was done by manual copy using Ubuntu.
