(1/1)
kentor:
i just downloaded the .zip file to my desktop, unzipped it, then replaced my old .rockbox folder to .OLDrockbox and copied over the new .rockbox folder but now my f10 gigabeat is not recognized by the computer anymore :(
Chronon:
Try booting it while connected via USB.
phonenerd:
which OS are you running. if you are running linux you need to be root
Chronon:
phonenerd: What do you mean by that? I never become root simply to attach a UMS device.

Hi. Sorry if i post in wrong thread, but i might have similar problem.
Recently i installed 3.3 ver. on sansa e200 and all worked nice. But in my curiosity, i just wanted to try current build of rockbox. I installed it along with bootloader (overwrite). And now when sansa is connected to windows, the new device creator appears and want install drivers. It fails, so cant browse folders while rockbox running. Uninstalling and installing stable release dont help. So, maybe something was broken in bootloader?
Edit: All previously installing i was making on win7. An this OS recognize my sansa perfectly. XP however, show message about composite usb device and want me to install drivers. In the past i had no problems with it on xp.
