Playback issue
« on: July 06, 2009, 12:42:48 PM »
I just upgraded to RB 3.3 from 3.0 on my 5G Ipod and I'm getting some strange playback issues when I have it plugged into my Belkin TuneBase FM transmitter. It causes my scroll to function backwards and causes the now playing song to go into repeat. However as long as it's not plugged in it functions just fine. Any help would be appreciated.

On second thought is there any way to get 3.0 back, I don't see it on the old releases page.

3.0 is ~9 months old so you sholdnt go back to it...
have a look in the general settings and enable (or disble) the acessory power supply setting and let us know if that changes anything...

does the reciever have any ipod controls? does it let you ffwd/rewind/change tracks?

I have the accessory power supply setting on I haven't tried with out it on. The ffwd and rewind work but I can't change tracks or restart the track. Pause works but the menu seems to be intermittent. I found my previously saved 3.0 version and installed it, every thing works fine now.

accessory support was added in 3.2, so you could go back to 3.1 if you wanted...
but, this means that your trasmitter doesnt work with rockbox, so it would be more helpful if you could help us make it work...

Sorry for bringing this back up but I figured out what setting I had changed in 3.3 and now it works with my adapter how ever I am getting a new intermittent issue. When RB starts up while plugged into my car adapter, it opens up my music folder and then opens 2 other following sub folders and would start playing the first song. It's a minor issue now that I have the "ask before deleting dynamic playlist" turned on but it still goes straight to that directory after it opens. Any suggestions would be great. Thanks.
