Can't add music to Sansa E280
Jwuu:
Firstly, I'm not sure if this is the right place to put this.....
I have a Sansa E280 8Gig, been running rockbox since I got it about two months ago and haven't added any music since then. Now, when I try to add more music on, I can't seem to find a way to do it. When it's in MSC mode, there's no MUSIC file directory on My Computer - only PHOTO, VIDEO, RECORD and rockbox - and when it's in MTP mode, WMP 11 says that it can't find any files on the device.
Also when I tried to download the rockbox 3.3 firmware, as an upgrade, it tells me that I don't have enough space on my device. I have only filled about half the 8Gig so that can't be possible.
Apart from those two problems, all is working fine. I can see and play my files on my Sansa.

You can drag and drop the music in a folder other than "music" and rockbox will play it fine. You could name it "therandomstuffIlistentoo" for all rockbox cares.

Oh ok, that's cool.
But if I wanted to edit/delete my files, then the only way to do that is manually one-by-one on my Sansa? Because when I reconnect the player to my computer after creating a new folder, that folder isn't there anymore...

Do you connect with rockbox usb stack or the OF?

Random guess: enable show hidden folders on your computer.
