Just downloaded Rockbox today and it's great

I've been investigating open source software for a while now, must say, Rockbox is by far the best application I have found in the open source world, and I am a Sun Microsystems guy (maybe not for much longer) and I know a bit about opensource.

It was as easy as 123 to install and the combination of the OGG file format and the Rockbox firmware just sounds wonderful.

I found the performance of the video player a bit choppy, but I realise that this functionality is at an early stage of it's development.

I just wanted to say a big thanks to the team that developed this, it truly brings a new dimension to portable music players and even better it's open source.

I agree Tom! Rockbox is definitely one of the most powerful DAP firmwares I've seen.
