Did Rockbox lead to a failure of my external HDD? (Was "Warning")
(1/1)
Cyberwave:
My 1st gen iPod nano is definitely having some problems. I don't know if it's Rockbox related, but still. I had it charging (via USB port of the computer) and iTunes was opening. I was listening to music, then the music stopped suddenly and all my songs were being displayed "!" missing. My external hard drive, which is where I keep my music, the folder containing it all, nothing was showing up. I rebooted unplugged my iPod and unplugged, then replugged my external hard drive in and the music was showing again. However, I later plugged my iPod in again and the same thing happened.
I just brought it up to a wall charger in my room but when I turned it off so it could charge a warning flashed. It went by too quick for me to see, so I have no idea what it said. Is there like, a list of warnings or something for me to see? I'unno.
evilnick:
Rockbox on your Nano would have NO effect on your external hard drive.
froggyman:
did the drive letter of your external HDD change?
