The New Features in The Daily Build
« on: June 16, 2009, 11:36:47 AM »
Can someone please explain to me how these two new features can be used:

Timestretching added - allows speed and pitch to be set independently.

You are now able to control your PC music player app using your DAP with USB HID while connected

Because I can't seem to find the instructions anywhere. The manuals have not been updated yet so it's not there either.

There's a thread about this in the playback forum.  Basically, you have to first enable it in the menus (settings/sound settings/timestretching), then reboot your player.  Then, while playing a song, switch to the pitch screen (on my h120 the key combo is play+up or play+down).  In the pitch screen, you have to hit the button to cycle through modes (on h120 it's the A-B button), from percent to semitone to timestretching.  From there you can change the timestretching settings.

Thank you! I noticed the Time Stretch option under sound settings but could not find the other option.

What about the other one?

have you tried it? It's pretty self-explanatory as long as your PC music player app supports media keys.

Actually, I was expecting some sort of sign on my iPod but thanks, I got it now.
