FM Radio
« on: June 14, 2009, 01:05:07 AM »
I have a e250 version 1 and I am wondering how to delete radio presets.  I just installed Rockbox and I am little overwhelmed by the depth of the menus and the functions of this firmware so I accidentally filled all presets.

Thanks

You'll never be able to take full advantage of Rockbox without reading/searching the manual.

Hint;  As right click in Windows,  the Rockbox version is Long Select.

Thats the thing about the wiki page where it compares the features. The Sansa interface is easier to use than RockBox, more intuitive.

Don't get me wrong, I turned to the manual.

It would be useful if you told us your thoughts on how the intuitiveness (is that even a word?) can be improved.
The difficulty comes in balancing having FAR more options than the OF and keeping all of them accessible enough - each user will only use a subset which is usually different to other users, and so will have differing priorities.

Many times much of the screen is unused and could be Commented like: Long Select to toggle Scan/Preset in the case of the Radio.

With so many features sometimes obscure feature get forgotten.

HTH!
