Which is more dependable?
(1/1)
Llamaman42:
Hi!
Just out of curiosity, which is more dependable (eg. updated more often, better information, ect...), the manual, or the Wiki?
saratoga:
They usually don't have the same information, so I'm not sure it makes sense to ask this question.
Llorean:
The manual is updated by the Rockbox project. The wiki is also updated by users. This means the wiki is updated more often in some cases, and almost never in other cases, and can have widely varying qualities of information.
You can see when the manual was updated in the Rockbox changelog.
soap:
If / when you find a discrepancy between the manual and the wiki, feel invited to ask about it here. Posts where the user demonstrates they have read the documentation and still have questions are most welcome - and it might provide the project with a chance to clarify one source or the other.
