Where is my music when viewing from the computer?

I installed the rockbox firmware on an auto install. When I was finished I looked and couldn't find the music when looking at my MP3 player through the computer. On the player itself I can see and play the music, but I can't see the music nor is there a music file when looking through the computer. I went through all the folders on the computer and can't find the music. This is important since that is how you download new music. I have a Sansa e260. thanks.

Well, you put the music on the player, did you? So you should know where you placed it.

You might want to check the player for hidden folder. The Sansa firmware hides the folder MUSIC every time.

This question is not related to Rockbox Utility at all.

I put the music in the player before I installed the rockbox firmware. I did take a look and the file was hidden, so thanks I don't think I would have figured it out.

Note that even if you unhide it, the Sansa v1 firmware will rehide it whenever it gets the chance.
