Rockbox Max Volume Lowered?

i know +6 sounds like it was high but it's mainly on a particular .flac file that seems to have low output volume that +6 seems a little low at times when a room etc is noisy.
in general +6 is more than enough though... it's mainly for a particular song i got in .flac format and if the area im in is semi-noisy.
hell i guess it's always been +6 but i could have sworn it was higher but apparently im mistaken.
thanks for your time.
p.s. i dont have bad hearing or anything ;) and i know +6 is normally loudish especially on mp3 files.

Look up replaygain. It was created to solve this problem.

like i say it's only because of that particular file that i had to turn up volume that high and that noise in the room etc where higher.
in general in a quiet-ish room i have the volume MUCH lower (because if i had it that high in a quiet room it would be uncomfortable). hence no hearing loss ;)
because i dont think ill lose much hearing in general as i still got good hearing and im almost 30 years old... so if i been listening to anything to loud over the last 10-15 years you would have thought i would have lost some hearing by now if i was going to happen. ;) (besides old age of course)

As I said we provide a solution to that problem. Consider using it rather then explaining to us that you have failed to do so.
