How to enable switching to Now Playing?

I've recently (about three hours ago) migrated to Rockbox from my iPod and I had gotten used to being able to easily switch songs, change volume, etc. with the ipod in my pocket, since after a few seconds, it would default to the Now Playing screen. Is this available in Rockbox and if so, how is it enabled?

No. Just press "play" to return to the WPS from nearly anywhere.

We consider it a bad feature for it to change screens without user input, as this can make use significantly more difficult for our blind users. You'll quickly get into the habit of pressing "Play" when you're about to put the player back into your pocket.

Thank you very much for the response, I didn't even realize Rockbox had a one-button feature to jump to the WPS. Hopefully, this will become a reflex for me.  ;D
