Which directory should I copy mp3s to?

I've been using Rockbox for a few months on a 5G 30Gb Ipod video and want to be rid of the directories iTunes made.  Can I delete the iTunes directories.  What directory structure should I copy music to?  I've been copying music to the Ipod_control\Music directory.

This wasn't really a question about "hardware."

And the answer is "any folder." If there was a specific folder required, the manual would mention it.
