I was wondering if it was at all possible to get the fm radio scan mode to constantly sweep all channels so that I could use the player as a "Franks Box" which is a tool used in paranormal researching. If it can be done in the programming itself it would be a lot simpler than modifying a hand held radio like http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=YN8iJjEq5Kg

You can control tuning via software if thats what you're asking (which is why you can control the radio from rockbox):

what im wondering is if rockbox can allow the scan feature for fm radio to constantly scan the channels without stopping....

it cant currently, but it might be possible with some software modifications
