loading in sansa mode

Hello, every time I plug  sansa e 670 into my PC, it boots up in RockBox mode, and then it switches into sansa mode and starts to refresh memory and of course it is NOT detected on the puter.
Only way I get it detected is by "locking" it, reboot, holding rewind, etc...
Why can't it just be immediately recognised as sansa e270 ?

Sorry for the bad description...
When I plug it into USB it opens up as "Rockbox", then it changes into (original)sansa- software and is not recognised/found on the PC...goes into ennoying refreshing of files....
Why doesn't it load directly  (into windows XP)?

It sounds like something is wrong with the original firmware.  You could look into that or just use rockbox USB mode, assuming you're running a build from the last month or so.

Load the Current Build of Rockbox and start your player Before you plug it in.  Of course, "start your player Before you plug it in"  may work with the version you have.

It does now, now it shows a usb plug when I plug it in...

What is the best for the battery? A total discharge? Or almost dead? Does it matter? Some batteries have a limited number of cycles...

Enjoy the music and don't worry about the battery.  If you need some advice, unplug when fully charged.

Deep discharging Lithium batteries can be bad, as can heat.  Avoid leaving it in a hot place (like a car) and you're do more for longevity than just about anything else.

discharge until the battery is at about 10-15%.  recharge fully.
