(1/1)

Every time I shutt down in rockbox i cannot turn my ipoddack on for a day or two, even when i plug it into my laptop it still does not respond.
LambdaCalculus:
There's a bug on the Apple firmware that causes the iPod to assume a drained battery when it really isn't. Charge your iPod with a wall charger, and leave it for 24 hours. That will usually get it to snap back into normal behavior.
GodEater:
Or perform a hard reset whilst it appears to be completely dead. This usually wakes it up too.

I'm not sure if that would work because I don't sync my ipod with any software like itunes or songbird. I would have to wait till it turns on again but i think i might have to boot into apple's firmware before shutting down.

What does that have to do with anything ?

That won't make a blind bit of difference.
