Headphones Bug

Sorry if this is in the wrong section.

My Gigbeat X (60gig Model) has recently had a software change from the default software (with its damned copyright file conversion) to Rockbox V3.2.

So far I love Rockbox, it is 100% better then the original software. But I have one issue. When I plug in my headphones it automatically scrolls down, when I'm in the menu it will flick through the options of; files; database; resume playback; etc... (This also happens to every screen in Rockbox). It is like the program thinks I'm pressing the down button every .5 of a second. Also when I start playing music, while the headphones are plugged in it automatically turns down the volume. Making music unplayable as it takes about 2 seconds for the volume to be turned to the lowest setting (mute)

Please, if someone could help me. It would be much appreciated as my Gigabeat is pretty much unusable unless it has no headphones attached.

Are you connecting your headphones through the remote control, or directly into the player ?

I have something similar on a Gigabeat f 20, the volume turns way down when I plug the headphones back in. I switched off the setting "pause on headphone unplug" and the bug stopped.
