Moving audio files to ipod is slow.

I just got rockbox on my ipod 30gb video and noticed when moving about 15gb's worth of music into the music folder was slower than if I used itunes. What am I doing wrong?

if you are using rockbox's USB stack it would be because it does not have maximum performance, meaning there is still a lot of room for improvement. It is actually about half as slow than the OFs USB staxk

That depends on the device, and the direction. e.g. the rockbox code is faster for reading on sansa than the OF.
Also, in most cases it's not actually the usb code being slow, but the disk or flash code.

And when you look there, you'll notice that that page hasn't been updated for more than a year.

So for now there is now fix? It doesn't bother me really at home it would only be an issue if say I wanted to grab some music from a friends pc.
