Ipod colour/photo not charging

Hello,
This is my first post so hello to all.

I have installed Rockbox on my ipod colour/photo and it does not seem to charge. I saw there were many bug reports for this so I downloaded the latest build (r20999). Now the charging icon shows it is charging but it isn't. When I boot in to Apple FW it charges perfectly. This happens whether I plug it in to a mains charger or in to the computer (Windows and Linux).

Is this still an open bug or am I missing something?

I know that rockbox charging support isnt very good. It tends to not draw enough current, and will take quite a bit longer to charge fully through rockbox.

The problem is it does not charge at all. I can leave it on charge all night and when I come back to it I get the very low battery warning.

Just as an update I tried it with the car charger, which is my main use for the ipod and that does not charge it either. I thought it was but then this morning the battery was totally drained.

had the same problem myself after i up loaded the latest release. gave it a day then re uploaded and its now fine.

Oh, that's good. Which release do you have? I still can't get mine to work.
