My iRiver 120 won't close down
(1/1)
ente:
I can press the stop button as soft or as hard and as many time as I will, the rockbox program won't close down anymore. I've got the impression that there is no resistance anymore, when pressing the button. The only way to come to a close down of the program and/or the player is by performing a reset.
Has anybody an idea what could help? Does anybody know about a repair shop in Switzerland or Germany? The main salespoint in Zurich, K55, has no repair facilities, the iRiver representative in Switzerland does no repair either (he recomended to contact iRiver Germany) but iRiver Germany didn't answer my mail within one month.
If there should be no way to get that fixed - which mp3 player with about 20 MB offers the same quality in sound and offers the same facilities. What I like most about iRiver is the possibility to make recordings from radio and from an amplifier.
tnx, ente

Hello,
absolutely perfect! Only two weeks later, my Iriver is back on duty. rockbox-lounge.com did a perfect job. My H120 not only closes down again, but also got a new accu (now good for 20 h) and a bigger disk (now 30 MB).
While from iRiver, the only thing I got - is a confirmation of receiving my mail...
Happy weekend, ente
