Used rockbox for less than a minute!! and i think my ipod's bricked! (5g 80gb)

hi, my ipod was fine nooo problems! but then i put rockbox on it today, with no problems, all seemed to install and work fine. But after buiding the database, it told me i hate restart the ipod. So i turned it off.. and it said "shutting down" and now it wont turn back on! just a black screen, ive tried plugging it in, charging it, doing all the different reset button combinations. Nothing works!! I would be so grateful if someone knew how to get it working again! i love my ipod and cant afford another! :(

Make sure you're doing the reset combination correctly: flick the HOLD switch on and then off again, and then hold MENU+SELECT for up to a minute.

If you can't reset it, charged it for a while (24 hours or so) and then to turn it on.  5G ipod are known to have trouble powering up if the battery gets low.
