HELP PLEASE !!

Please help me i have a 5th gen video ipod 30G
i loaded on rockbox using ipodpatcher
now i get ...

Rockbox boot loader
version 3.0
ipodversion : 0x000b0011
loading rockbox....
Error!
cant load rockbox.ipod:
file not found
hold menu+select to reboot
then select + play for disc mode


That is it........it wont conect to the pc...........
no does Ipod wizard know its there....

please help am kinda worried

put it in to disk mode to connect it to your computer (menu+center to reset then menu +play/pause; both for up to 60 seconds) or you could flip the hold switch on boot to load the OF and connect like normal.

then make sure to add the ".rockbox" folder to the root directory, because that seems to be the problem the bootloader is having

Hello I know this is an old post but it relates to my current problem so I felt no need to start a new thread...

I loaded the rockbox on my 3rd gen ipod, I now have the problem that my computer will not recognize the USB device. I've tried the open disk bit but it still will not recognize it. Is there anything else I can do?

You should be able to get USB access through Apple's Disk Mode if Rockbox has not been properly installed yet.  Are you trying to finish installing Rockbox?
