Which version of rockbox for modded ipod 5g?
« on: May 14, 2009, 08:49:38 PM »
So, I had a 60 GB 5G iPod video.  Hard drive died, so I replaced it with the HD from a 30 GB ipod video (not sure if its 5G or 5.5G), and restored from iTunes.  Works fine.  I now have an iphone, so i want to put rockbox on my "hybrid" ipod.  Which version should I use?

If by "which version" you're asking about the 30GB vs 60/80GB builds, the answer is: you can still go with the 60GB builds. The difference between those builds is in how much ram they expect the player to have--32 vs 64MB.
