Thank you RockBox Team

I'm surprised there's so much support, i picked up my sansa e250 and lucky me it was the supported version. I always thought that rockbox was just some thing that only played a bunch of different music formats, but when I installed it i was blown away. I beats the sansa's normal firmware by miles and theme customization is awesome. It also makes it so I don't have to go through the hassles of windows media player to sync my songs, I just drag and drop all my music, videos, and my gameboy games as well. I can't tell you how much it meant to me to be able to play pokemon again I remember playing it 7 years ago, it was like...my childhood, and I'm finally getting to play it again, back light and all. Thanks so much rockbox team, you've made a supporter out of me.

For the record, you don't need to use Windows Media Player with the original Sansa firmware.  If you set the USB mode to MSC, you can drag and drop.

have to agree completely. When my Rio packed up I thought I was going to have to give up on a crossfader and easy interface but a massive thank you to all of you who contributed and support this software.

I actually discovered RockBox when I was figuring out how to put Doom on your iPod. I currently had a Nano that I could use and iPodLinux didn't support it. I discovered RockBox which supported the Nano and fell in Love! After about 2-3 months later I got a 60GB 5th Gen for RockBox. I amazed at how many have contributed to it too. It's amazing what they make an iPod do.
