Click wheel unresponsive!

I have a first gen 2 gig ipod nano.
When I install rockbox it boots up into the OS fine. but once in the OS it's scroll wheel is completely unresponsive.

It also does this on any other install I have tried(ipod linux zeroslackr).

so if you can, Help me please.

Can you give some information about the versions of both the main rockbox build and bootloader you tried? Maybe that will help in tracking this down

I used the 3.2 download installer.

Just to be sure, are you using the Rockbox bootloader or the IPL bootloader?
Not that I think that is your problem.
I assume the scroll wheel works properly in the Apple OS?

I'm using rockbox boot loader.
And yes, it works fin in the apple OS.

I'm really stumped.  Unless you have an iPod Mini, not Nano I can not think of a scenario under which you would encounter these symptoms.

Do the buttons work, but not the "wheel"?

EDIT:  Actually - the easiest way is to ask:  Is your screen color or black and white?
