E200 Sound quality improvement

I  installed a current build (May 1st) and immediately noticed an improvement in sound quality over version 3.2.  Has anyone else noticed this? It's a an e280 v1 playing FLAC files.

I don't use FLAC on my e200, but you might have noticed the fix of bug 10111 - Pops and clicks when playing 24 bit FLAC files.

I haven't any 24 bit files so didn't know about that problem. I also changed the WPS at the same time so maybe this could have something to do with it.

I can see this fix for AAC (http://svn.rockbox.org/viewvc.cgi?view=rev;revision=20821), but nothing else for FLAC in there over what Lear mentioned.

Doesn't the Sansa E200 have an interference issue with the LCD? maybe a less busy/dynamic WPS will cause less of an issue?

You might be thinking about how the LCD adds noise to the microphone recordings.
