Sansa e200 v1 noise with DC adapter

In addition to SD noise, I'm getting constant high-frequency squealing (low volume though) when plugged in to my USB cigarette lighter adapter.  As soon as I unplug the sansa cable, all noise is gone instantly.  My make-shift solution has been to pump the e260 volume up to the max, while keeping the aux-in volume moderately low (~30-35 on a 0-50 scale).  As soon as I crank it to 40, I start hearing the squealing.

... but, I'm not sure if that's the cigarette adapter, the cable (3rd party cable from monoprice, going to try the OEM cable tonight), or the player itself.

Its the adapter.  Get a better one.
